You might well have seen Mr Slowboy's work at Barbour, Lock & Co Hatters, Fox Brothers, BMW Mini and Fortnum & Mason, just to mention a few famous names.
Dunhill is a British luxury goods brand that specialises in menswear, leather goods and accessories. Alfred Dunhill (1872-1959) inherited a saddlery business from his father in 1893 when he was just 21 years old. He was a forward thinking man and soon developed a first collection of accessories for the up and coming vehicle of his time, the automobile. Dunhill’s luxury Motorities Stores in Mayfair became well known for stocking everything for the motor vehicle, from car horns to leather overcoats.
Hence it is not unusual for the modern day Dunhill Collection to carry a few products with a design nod to motoring. The Boston Bulldog folio illustrated by Mr Slowboy was part of the Dunhill collection around 2018/19. This leather folio is brand new and unused. Fitted with a sturdy zip, six card slots and two slip pockets. A leather carrying/wrist strap is also supplied. The folio is packed with its original black storage cloth in a Dunhill presentation box. It will make a lovely gift for all dog and/or car enthusiasts.
