Extremely Tall Handcrafted Copper & Brass Metal Urn 111cm VINTAGE
An elegant floorstanding copper urn, or vase, of slender tapering form. Decorated in a rustic style with multiple brass bandings of shaped triangles, hand-cut and hand-riveted. With attractive vintage metal surfaces that have developed a rich aged patina. It is a large piece that measures around 111cm (3.5 Ft. approx.) in height.
The urn is fitted with a tall neck that is covered by a removable lid. Two large and robust handles allow this well constructed piece to be moved. Its fine shape is largely based on storage vessels from Mediterranean or Eastern origins for drinking water or other liquids. This decorative piece is of a vintage age and traditionally crafted in India or one of its surrounding countries.
In excellent condition, with some small dents and scratches, consistent with age.
A striking example of a large floorstanding urn/vase with an exotic look. Ideal for surprising visitors in a hallway or other part of a house or business interior.
