Fox Umbrella Navy & Whangee Handle & Gold Collar 9ct 1954 VINTAGE
A post-WW2 piece that has recently undergone a full restoration by Fox Umbrellas. This skilled work was carried out in their London workshop, which is most likely the same building that this Fox umbrella with its Paragon frame was originally constructed.
An exquisite vintage Fox umbrella fitted with a Whangee (bamboo) cane handle. Its durable metal frame, made of strong Sheffield steel, has been factory serviced. Re-fitted with a brand new waterproof canopy in stylish navy.
The shaft was personalised by the original owner with a collar plated with 9ct hallmarked gold. The collar is unmarked and can be engraved with the new owner's initials. The hallmarks accurately date this beautiful vintage umbrella by Fox to 1958.
