In the early 2000's artist Alan Clarke was responsible for a number of spectacular pieces that celebrate the cosmos and its astronomical bodies.
This striking ceramic plate, or charger, is Alan Clarke's interpretation of the Sun. From The Sun and Moon collection produced by Poole Pottery, Dorset. Made in a small production run of 1000 pieces measuring 26cm in diameter. Hand signed by artist. Factory marked with Poole Limited Edition, designed and made in England.
The charger is in first class condition, without chips, cracks and restoration.
