Poole Pottery Charger Plate The Planets Neptune 26cm COLLECTABLE
World famous Poole Pottery has often made use of talented designers and ceramicists. This has resulted in hugely collectable pieces like the Planets collection, that consisted of nine glazed chargers decorated with celestial bodies by artist Alan Clarke. Made to commemorate the alignment of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn that took place on the 5th of May 2000.
This striking ceramic plate, or charger, is Alan Clarke's interpretation of the Neptune. Made in a small production run of 500 pieces, measuring 26cm in diameter. Factory marked with Poole Limited Edition, Alan Clarke's signature and engraved with number 333. Designed and made in England.
The charger is in first class condition, without chips, cracks and restoration.
