These are rather lovely! A set of two storage boxes from the Tool Stores of the Rolls Royce car factory in Crewe (opened in 1938). Well constructed out of wood with dovetail joints. Marked with Rolls Royce Ltd, Tool Stores and R.R. Ltd, Tool Stores stencil lettering. Stamped with manufacturer's label.

With lots of character due to the many usage marks, oil stains, scratches, holes, dents, as well as, worn & damaged wood. Ideal for storage as the boxes are in a sturdy and clean condition. The wood is protected with a thin layer of clear wax.
