Set of Miniature Dariole Copper Moulds Early 20th Century ANTIQUE

Kitchenalia, a collective term for cooking utensils and equipment, continues to be enthusiastically collected by many antique lovers. A beautiful display of a few well chosen vintage or antique kettles, copper pans and jelly moulds will work in all kitchen interiors.

If you are just starting out with your kitchenalia collection we have this super-stylish set of small dariole moulds available. Dariole is a French culinary term for a dessert baked in a small cone shaped mould. Classically speaking this was an egg custard filled puff pastry, but also fruit and cheese were often used as a filling in this type of dessert.

The set consists of seven dariole moulds of various sizes. Formed from sturdy copper with a good quality gauge in a truncated shape with tin lined interior walls. We think they were manufactured in France during the first part of the 20th century.

Six of the smallest sized dariole moulds are in excellent condition. The largest size mould has several indentations in the bottom as can be seen in one of the images. All copper surfaces show time related signs of usage and wear, but have polished up beautifully.
