In 1998 Steiff released a replica version of their teddy Bear from 1909. Made in a Limited Edition of just 7000 pieces worldwide. Manufactured faithfully to the original in every detail. This exceptional teddy bear was lovingly produced by hand with a coat of the finest mohair plush, and is stuffed with wood shavings in the old tradition. We were particularly attracted to the luxurious colour that is described as dark blue. Fitted with a growler, the nose and claws were carefully hand stitched. Fully jointed and surface washable. He is a medium sized bear of 35cm, that is almost 14 inches in height!
This pre-loved bear is in beautiful condition. Removed from the box it has likely been on show at some point during its life. The bear has been very well cared for and is completely clean with no wear or damage. The original factory label is still attached to the chest, undamaged. Fixed with the famous Steiff mark of quality 'button in ear'.
The original box that is supplied with the Steiff 1909 replica bear. The all important Limited Edition certificate is included, this teddy bear carries production number 03720. Who will become the lucky owner of this handsome chap?
